So what are the worst foods to eat for weight loss?
In today’s day and age we have countless of food choices.
Many of them are really bad and especially for weight loss.
Turns out most women are eating some foods that are preventing them from losing fat.
In today’s article we will discuss which foods you should avoid at all costs.
Worst Foods To Eat For Weight Loss
Pizza
The average pizza slice contains about 300 calories.
Did you notice that I said slice?
So if you eat 4 slices which is pretty normal in my opinion you have a 1200 calorie meal.
Which is definitely a very high number for only 1 meal.
Not to mention that pizza contains mostly carbs and fats.
So stay away from pizza if you are trying to lose weight.
Cereal
Unfortunately most cereal that is available today is filled with carbs and sugars.
One cereal product which is labeled as “slimming and healthy” contained about 20% sugar.
I’m not mentioning the name of this particular product but be aware of this.
Stay away from cereal, you don’t need so much sugar in the morning.
Fruit Juice
Fruit juices contain a lot of sugar.
In fact fruit juices and soft drinks contain the same amount of sugar.
One average glass of fruit juice contains about 120 calories and 30 grams of sugar.
Drink water instead, it’s cheaper and contains no calories.
Even though fruit juices are labelled as healthy they still contain a whole lot of sugar that can make us gain weight.
Yoghurt
I don’t care if the package says “natural” or “healthy”.
Most yoghurts I’ve seen contain about 15% sugar.
Yoghurt are considered healthy among many individuals even though its not true.
If you are buying yoghurt at least stick with greek yoghurt which is still about 5% sugar.
Dried Fruit
Even though it makes perfect sense that dried fruit is healthy, it’s actually not.
Dried fruit is filled with sugar and you could as well be eating candy.
Because they dry the fruit then add additional sugar to it for a better taste.
Bread and pasta
Bread and pasta are never good options when losing fat.
They are high in carbs and low in protein.
Contain very little fiber which means you will go hungry shortly after consuming these foods.
Also they just don’t contain high quality calories.
They contain mostly simple carbs which can easily make us fat.
I’m also not a big fan of the whole grain bread and brown pasta thing.
Yes they may be slightly better but it’s not going to help you lose weight unfortunately.
Energy Bars
In many cases energy bars are very high in calories and filled with sugar.
You must read the labels before eating a energy bar which are usually just like candy bars.
The only difference is the marketing of the bar.
Don’t believe everything you see, make it a habit to read the labels and see if the item you are about to eat is really that good.
The Best Foods For Weight Loss
You are probably wondering what foods you should stick to for the best fat loss results.
In my opinion the list of these foods is not that big.
The kind of foods you should eat for fat loss are:
- Chicken Breast
- Lean meats
- Eggs
- Fish
- Vegetables
- Fruit
- Sweet potatoes
- Brown rice
- Oats
- Almonds
Try to base your diet around these foods if your goal is to lose weight.
Of course there are other foods that may be good for fat loss but this list is something that I follow when I’m trying to lose weight.

For even faster results eat the foods mentioned above with daily exercise.
Do HIIT workouts and lift weights for quicker results.
A great habit is to exercise as soon as you wake up if you have the chance.
