I think you will agree with me when I say :
You want to avoid every mistake in your weight loss journey
Turns out many women are making weight loss mistakes which prevents them from seeing results.
The reason I know this is because I’ve trained countless of women and most of them make these 3 common weight loss mistakes.
In todays article I will tell you about these weight loss mistakes so you can avoid doing them.
I will also tell you how you can speed up your weight loss and get faster results.
Top 3 Weight Loss Mistakes
1. Eating too little
Believe it or not eating too little can be very bad on a weight loss diet.
The reason is that when you underfeed your body for a long period of time your metabolism slows down.
The metabolism is kinda like the fat loss machine in your body, if your metabolism slows down you will burn off fewer calories with every day that goes by.
Meaning that you will have to constantly lower the amount of food you eat in order to lose weight.
Which eventually results in a crash or health problems.
Eating little might work in the short term but it’s a terrible long term strategy.
You should rather focus on eating quality foods preferably a diet that is high in protein, low-medium carbs and medium fats.
That way your metabolism will be higher and your body will burn more calories throughout each day.
Avoid simple carbs at all costs they are unnecessary and are the number 1 reason why people are overweight.
Mixing carbohydrates and fats is also a terrible idea for weight loss (example : donuts or pizza)
Educate yourself on how to diet it will be worth it.
We have plenty of articles on this website that can teach you how to diet correctly and get phenomenal weight loss results.
2. Drinking calories
Drinking calories is a terrible idea if you are trying to lose weight.
Did you know that one glass of juice contains about 200 calories and the source is simple sugars?
Also avoid sugary drinks such as sodas and other drinks that are filled with carbohydrates.
Instead drink water and lots of it.
You can also drink a cup of coffee or diet sodas that contain no calories.
Don’t start your day off with a glass of orange juice even though it might contain some vitamins it is still filled with simple sugars.
Aim for 8 glasses of water everyday, keep your body well hydrated it will give you more energy and help you to lose weight.
3. Focusing too much on your weight
If you are someone that steps on the weight scale every day I feel sorry for you.
It is a terrible idea and I can explain why.
One day you may weigh 170 lbs but the next day you weigh 165 lbs.
Did you lose 5 lbs of fat in one day?
Absolutely not, far from it actually.
Our bodies are about 60% water.
Our water weight may fluctuate depending on how much water our body is storing that given day you weigh yourself.
Many times people focus too much on the weight scale and either feel good about the number that they see or they feel terrible.
It’s alright to weight yourself once a week but no more than that.
Also if you are training you might be building muscle and losing fat at the same time.
Muscles are heavier than fat so you might gain weight even though you lost fat.
That’s why the weight scale isn’t an accurate tool to assess results.
If you want to make sure you are getting results you can get your body fat % tested once a month.
That will be a much more accurate tool for seeing if you are getting results.
How to Avoid These Mistakes and Supercharge your results
Keep your metabolism high at all times that way you will burn more calories throughout each day that goes by.
The best way to keep your metabolism high is too eat a decent amount of quality foods, exercise daily and to use a fat burner that contains ingredients that turbocharge your metabolism.
A fat burner can be very helpful to lose those last stubborn pounds of fat that sit around your stomach area.
They work by reducing hunger cravings, blocking fat production and increasing the metabolism(burn more calories)
