How to lose weight at home ? is it even possible?
It’s no secret that many women cannot stand the gym.
Still they want to lose weight but they do not want to go to the gym.
So the question they ask themselves is:
Is it possible to lose weight at home without having to go to the gym?
Good news! It most certainly is possible.
Even though they cannot take advantage of various machines and weights that are available in most gyms they still can easily lose weight at home.
As you probably know by now the most important factor for losing weight is the diet.
You literally can lose weight without exercise if your diet is good enough.
However, in this article I will provide you with some home workouts you can do without gym equipment.
I will also tell you how to eat in order to lose weight naturally.
I will give you all the tools you need to finally answer the question on how to lose weight at home.
How To Lose Weight At Home
Eat at a calorie deficit
This is probably the most important tips of them all.
Here’s how eating at calorie deficit works:
Your body needs energy to function.
Food is our bodies energy source.
Let’s say that your body needs 2000 calories (energy) per day to maintain it’s state.
So when you eat 2000 calories per day your body will not gain any weight or lose any weight.
It will simply stay as it is when you eat 2000 calories per day.
Let’s say you cut down your calorie intake to 1500 calories per day.
Your body burns 2000 calories and you only eat 1500 calories.
Which means that you will be eating at a 500 calorie deficit.
The fat on your body is also an energy source.
So when your body doesn’t get the necessary calories it needs through food it will get it from the fat that’s on your body.
By eating at a calorie deficit for a long period of time you will eventually lose weight.
If you eat at a 500 calorie deficit for 1 week you will lose 1 pound of fat.
Since 1 pound of fat is 3500 calories.
The real struggle using this approach is finding your maintenance calories.
This may take some trial and error to figure out because our bodies are all different.
You can start off by eating 1800 calories everyday and see if you will lose or gain any weight.
if you are losing weight eating 1800 calories you can continue eating that way.
If you are not losing weight eating 1800 calories you might try 1500 calories and see where that leads you.
Eat more Protein
Protein is very important when it comes to weight loss.
It’s important because it helps us maintain our muscle size and fuel our muscles.
Since muscles burn more calories than fat you would want to maintain your muscle size when you are losing weight.
You will also store less fat eating protein compared to carbohydrates.
So try to eat at least 2-3 meals per day that consist of protein rich foods such as:
Eggs, meat or fish.
You should also eliminate simple carbs from your diet that come from unhealthy foods such as:
Pizzas, candy, sugar, fries, hamburgers and so on.
Exercise at home
Diet is more important than exercise if your goal is to lose weight.
That’s because you could still gain weight even though you exercise everyday (if you are not eating at a calorie deficit.)
Exercise is still a very important factor for losing weight.
That’s because when you exercise your body needs more energy.
If you exercise your body burns off more calories allowing you to lose weight faster.
If you want to lose weight at home you can still get some good workouts in.
You can go outside and do a HIIT (High intensity interval training)
An example of a HIIT workout is sprinting for 1 minute and than walking for 1 minute repeated 10 times.

Increase your metabolism

Our metabolism is responsible for how many calories we burn through each day.
It’s kind of like a fat loss machine inside of our bodies.
If your metabolism is high you burn off more calories than someone who has a low metabolism.
