It’s a fact that most women’s physiques are the best in their teenage years or 20’s.
That’s the time where they had the perfect body.
I hear women say this all the time :“I wish I had the same body as I did when I was 21 years old”
Turns out women are getting more out of shape with every year that goes by as they age.
There is a good explanation for that which I will get in more detail later on in the article.
In this article I will reveal the ways how to get fitter with age instead of fatter.
Why Do We Get Fatter With Age?
First we have to answer this question:
Why could you eat almost anything in your teenage years and 20’s without getting fat?
Now as you are a little bit older you cannot even smell french fries without putting on fat.
There is a good reason for this and it has to do with our metabolism.
In our late 20’s our metabolism starts to slow down.
This means that we burn off fewer calories than before.
So it will also be easier for us to gain fat and harder for us to lose fat.
That’s the time where many women gain fat.
There are also other explanations.
Most women have kids at some point in their life, it’s definitely a busy schedule being a mother and trying to stay in shape.
For some women it’s almost impossible to stay on track and others have lost motivation to keep going.
So What’s the Solution?
I wish I could tell you that all you needed to do was 1 workout and 1 healthy meal and you would get back in shape.
Unfortunately it’s not as simple as that.
The first step is to take responsibility for your condition.
Don’t blame anyone for being out of shape, it is your responsibility alone.
Just think about this:
Our health and fitness should be the highest priority in our lives.
Without our health we can not take care of anyone, it is our duty and responsibility to take care of our health.
At least do it for your parents, siblings, husband, boyfriend or kids.
Without your health you cannot help them, just think about that for a second.
The second step is to commit to a plan
You need to have the right plan of attack to achieve the results you want.
Just think about a ship in the middle of the ocean with no map and no direction.
It will end up on a random place or even sink somewhere.
You have to commit yourself 100% to a plan that you follow.
This should be some sort of diet plan and training regime that is going to help you get back in shape.

The third step is to decide to never give up.
Just decide that you will never give up no matter what.
No matter how hard life hits you, you will never give up on your body and health.
Something will happen when you decide to never give up, you feel more powerful and in control of your body.
The fourth step is to set a goal and write it down everyday.
Set down a long term goal and a short term goal.
Write it down on a paper EVERYDAY.
A long term goal could be something like “in 1 year I will be 160 lbs and in the best shape of my life”
A short term goal can be “in 1 month I’ve lost 5 pounds”
Always write new short term goals as each month passes and don’t give up even though you don’t achieve your short term goal.
With every success comes failure, remember that.
The fifth step is to maximize your potential.
Once you’ve followed the steps above for some time you should be highly motivated to achieve your goals.
Then you can attempt to maximize your potential.
